A sample of Dintzer's cases include: --AIR v. California Department of Conservation – Represent Aera Energy LLC ("Aera") in lawsuit brought by environmental organizations, including the Sierra Club and Center for Biological Diversity in case challenging the failure of the California Department of Conservation, Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources ("DOGGR") to prepare EIRs for new oil well permits in the South Belridge Oil Field. In May 2015, the Court entered an order granting Aera's demurrer with leave to amend, based upon the defense of res judicata. --Center for Biological Diversity v. California Department of Conservation – Represent three petroleum industry groups as lead counsel as interveners in lawsuit initiated by environmental organizations against DOGGR, which challenged DOGGR's regulation of hydraulic fracturing. In January 2014, the Alameda County Superior Court held that the case was dismissed without leave to amend based on recent legislation regulating hydraulic fracturing in California. This lawsuit sought an injunction to halt all hydraulic fracturing in California, which would have had serious financial consequences for oil and gas industry. --Community Health Councils, et al. v. County of Los Angeles – Lead trial counsel for Real Party in Interest Plains Exploration and Production Company in a CEQA matter related to the County of Los Angeles' adoption of a Community Standards District, essentially a zoning overlay for the Inglewood Oil Field.
