Richard A. Rosen is a Partner and Vice President of Columbia Development Companies. Richard has been an integral part of the Columbia Development team for 25 years. Starting as a Project Manager focusing on construction, Richard is now involved in all phases of commercial real estate development. Throughout his two and a half decades of experience, Richard has been instrumental in developing over 6 million square feet and more than $1 billion worth of healthcare facilities, commercial office space, retail, hospitality/restaurant and student housing properties. These projects have been developed within the Capital District, Hudson Valley and throughout the country. Richard specializes in assisting clients with site evaluation, project design, construction, project approvals and financing of new and existing facilities. Prior to joining Columbia Development Companies, Richard worked for long time affiliate BBL Construction Services as a Construction Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the State University of New York at Albany. Richard serves as the Chairman for the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District, he is on the Board of Trustees at La Salle Institute and volunteers for many local charities.
