Marc Schloss serves as Manager, Government Relations & PAC at Van Scoyoc Associates, Inc. (VSA) where he handles the firm's political action committee and other VSA political activities. He also supports Van Scoyoc Associate clients that maintain education, healthcare and tax policy interests. Before joining VSA in 2007, Schloss was Finance, Chief Operating Officer for Senator Evan Bayhís All America PAC and the Evan Bayh Committee, overseeing the senatorís fundraising activities. Prior to this he was Deputy Director, Office of Party Affairs and Delegate Selection, Democratic National Committee (DNC). At the DNC he oversaw delegate selection for 27 states to the 2004 Democratic Convention, managed the activities of the 2004 Democratic Platform Committee, and served as staff to the Commission on Presidential Nomination Timing and Scheduling charged with providing recommendations for the 2008 Democratic nominating calendar. Before this, Schloss served as special assistant to Massachusetts Senator Edward M. Kennedy, and provided support to the Senator's Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Schloss is a veteran of nine campaigns at the national and state levels, and is an expert in online and grassroots advocacy.
