Gerard J DeMuro

DeMuro has had a successful and extensive career in defense acquisition policy, communications systems and business operations and management. He began his career in acquisitions positions within the Department of Defense, leaving to join GTE Government Systems. He quickly rose within GTE to become vice president and general manager of its Army tactical communications systems business, and then general manager of its Communications Systems Division. When General Dynamics acquired GTE Government Systems in 1999, DeMuro became a vice president of the corporation and president of the Communications Systems business unit, later renamed C4 Systems.
