Dr. Paul G. Kaminski, Ph.D. serves as the President, and Chief Executive Officer of Technovation Inc. Dr. Kaminski has been in this position since 1997. Dr. Kaminski has been a Senior Partner of Global Technology Partners LLC since March 1998. He serves as an Advisor to the MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Dr. Kaminski has had a continuing career involving advanced technology in both the private and public sectors. Dr. Kaminski has served as a Consultant and Advisor to a wide variety of government agencies and as Chairman, Director or Trustee of several defense and technology oriented companies. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Technology Strategies & Alliances from 1985 to 1994. From October 3, 1994 to May 16, 1997, Dr. Kaminski served as the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology. In this position, he was responsible for all matters relating to Department of Defense acquisition, including research and development, procurement, acquisition reform, dual-use technology, the defense technology, and industrial base. He serves as an Advisor to LynuxWorks, Inc. and MILCOM Technologies. He serves as a Member of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board and Chairman of the Defense Science Board at United States Department Of Defense. He serves as a Director of DynCorp Inc. Dr. Kaminski serves as a Member of the DNI’s Senior Advisory Board, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Technical Advisory Board, and the National Academies Air Force Studies Board. He has been a Director of General Dynamics Corp. since 1997. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Exostar, and HRL. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at RAND Corporation from 2009 to April 18, 2013. He serves as a Director of CoVant Management, Inc., Bay Microsystems, Inc., DFI International, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, In-Q-Tel, and USAF Academy Endowment. He serves as Member of Strategic Advisory Council at SI Organization, Inc. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Scientific Systems Company, Inc. He works as the Chairman of Technovation Inc. From 1981 to 1984, he served as Director for Low Observables Technology, with responsibility for overseeing the development, production and fielding of major “stealth” systems. He also led the initial development of a National Reconnaissance Office space system and related sensor technology. Early in his career, he was responsible for test and evaluation of inertial guidance components for the Minuteman missile and terminal guidance systems for its first precision guided munitions. He served as a Director of EDO Reconnaissance and Surveillance Systems, Inc. Dr. Kaminski is the recipient of the following awards, The Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service (three awards), The Defense Distinguished Service Medal, The Director of Central Intelligence Director's Award, The Defense Intelligence Agency Director's Award, Legion of Merit with Oak Leaf Cluster, The International Strategic Studies Association Stefan T. Possony Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Strategic Progress through Science and Technology, The Netherlands Medal of Merit in Gold, The French Republic Legion d'Honneur, and The Air Force Systems Command Scientific Achievement Award. His previous government experience includes a 20-year career as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force. He has authored publications dealing with inertial and terminal guidance system performance, simulation techniques, Kalman filtering and numerical techniques applied to estimation problems. Dr. Kaminski has received numerous awards including National Medal of Technology in 2006, Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service (3 awards), Defense Distinguished Service Medal, Director of Central Intelligence Director’s Award, Defense Intelligence Agency Director’s Award, Legion of Merit with Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Academy in 2002 Distinguished Graduate Award, the Ronald Reagan Award for Missile Defense, the International Strategic Studies Association Possony Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Strategic Progress through Science and Technology, the AOC Gold Medal, the Netherlands Medal of Merit in Gold, the French Republic Legion d’Honneur, and the Air Force Systems Command Scientific Achievement Award. He has been recognized as a Pioneer of National Reconnaissance and a Pioneer of Stealth. Dr. Kaminski holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, an M.S. degree in both Aeronautics and Astronautics and in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. from the Air Force Academy.
