Lord Nigel Vinson

Member of the House of Lords and UK Conservative Party

Lord Vinson, who was instrumental in the rise to power of the late Margaret Thatcher, was named as a Global Warming Policy funder in 2014. Vinson, life vice president of the Institute of Economic Affairs, also set up the Centre for Policy Studies with Keith Joseph and Thatcher in 1974, supported by the IEA. Both the CPS and IEA have a history of oil and tobacco funding.
