Dr. Bondurant has over 25 years of international health and development experience in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the US. He is currently serving as Business Unit Director for FHI 360’s Asia and Pacific Region, where he is responsible for strategic direction, representation, business development and partnerships, program management, scientific and technical quality, and administrative support to FHI 360's country and regional programs. He has extensive experience in program and project design, management, and evaluation; strategic information management and planning; institutional and organizational development; and training and facilitation. His work entails close collaboration with governments, international and local non-governmental and civil society organizations, foundations and the private sector. He has provided technical expertise in the fields of sexual and reproductive health (including all aspects of HIV/AIDS/STI prevention and care); health sector development and reform; tuberculosis and leprosy; and community health for multiple organizations. He currently oversees a broad and increasingly integrated portfolio including communicable and vector-borne diseases (HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, neglected tropical diseases, emerging pandemic threats), maternal and child health, nutrition, clinical and non-clinical research, social marketing and communication, work force development, education, mobile technologies, gender based violence and other development areas. He has a wide range of country experience in Asia (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam), South America (Peru and Bolivia), Africa (Uganda), and the United States.
