Yollick was born in Dallas and has lived in The Woodlands for 23 years with his wife of 30 years and son. He graduated from St. Mark’s High School in Dallas and graduated from Princeton University in 1983. He received his law degree from SMU School of Law in 1989 and has practiced law ever since, concentrating on business and real estate litigation, general civil practice, and mediation of probate matters. Yollick is thoroughly familiar with the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, because he has provided support to attorneys on both sides of the docket in business-related criminal matters. He is familiar with family law because he used to practice in that field and continues to do probate work that depends upon a knowledge of the Family Code. Yollick has been Board Certified in Consumer and Commercial Law with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1995. He is licensed to practice in numerous state and federal courts in Texas, Colorado, and the District of Columbia, where he’s licensed. Yollick served as President of the Montgomery County Bar Association from 2005 to 2006. He has been actively involved in the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, and Woodlands Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of numerous other bar associations and civic organizations. He has raised almost $2 million to support cancer research through TeamYollick and other foundations.
