Most recently Vice President of Government Affairs for American Defense International of Washington, DC, Will Marsh comes to P3 Consulting after over five years in the private sector and nearly six years on Capitol Hill. Throughout his public and private sector tenure, Mr. Marsh specialized in Department of Defense research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) programs as well as the procurement process. Mr. Marsh, originally from Englewood, Colorado, relocated to Washington, DC, to assume a position on the policy staff of the House Armed Services Committee where he was responsible for research and legislative support for the full Committee. He served on the Committee staff for two years when he accepted the post of Military Legislative Assistant for Congressman Van Hilleary of Tennessee, a member of the House Armed Services Committee. In that capacity he was directly responsible for Tennessee military affairs as Congressman Hilleary was the only member in that delegation on any military oversight committee. Mr. Marsh interfaced with the state’s many military installations, operational units, and defense industrial base. After serving Congressman Hilleary for over two years, Mr. Marsh became the Military Legislative Assistant for Congressman Joel Hefley, then-Chairman of the Military Installations and Facilities Subcommittee. In that capacity, Mr. Marsh was directly involved with Subcommittee hearings and legislation on military construction, real estate acquisitions and disposals, housing and support, and base closure and land use redevelopment. In addition, Mr. Marsh managed all Colorado related defense projects on behalf of Chairman Hefley. Mr. Marsh attended Colorado State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.
