L. Stanton Towne joined Studley (now Savills Studley) with a 20-year history as an attorney representing tenants with their commercial real estate needs. He brings to Savills Studley an unmatched expertise in negotiating and analyzing leases and achieving the terms needed to accomplish his clients’ business goals. Stan was previously a partner with the law firm McDermott Will & Emery and with the law firm Towne, Dolgin, Sawyier & Horton, a firm he co-founded and co-managed for eight years. He started his legal career with the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell. ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS In addition to his law-firm experience, Stan is an adjunct professor at New York Law School and was chair of the Committee on Real Property Law of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. EDUCATION He attended Columbia University School of Engineering and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Columbia Law School.
