John Buser

John Buser is a Managing Director of Neuberger Berman and Global Head of the Private Investment Portfolios practice for Neuberger Berman. He is also a member of the Private Investment Portfolios, Co-Investment, Latin America Private Equity, Northbound and Secondary Investment Committees. Before joining Neuberger Berman in 1999, Mr. Buser was a partner at the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P., where he had extensive experience in the practice of domestic and international income taxation during his 17 year tenure. Mr. Buser was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1982 after receiving his J.D. from Harvard Law School. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Buser graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in accounting from Kansas State University.
