Prior to launching Regan Communications Group, George worked as a reporter at the Boston Globe beginning at the age of 17, earning his first byline at the age of 18. He then became a leading figure in the administration of Boston Mayor Kevin White for over a decade, first as press secretary and later as director of communications for the City of Boston. George also worked on numerous presidential campaigns, serving as national advance person for Jimmy Carter’s successful 1976 presidential campaign, and also working on presidential campaigns for Mo Udall, Henry “Scoop” Jackson, and Governor Michael Dukakis. George is a strong supporter of various charitable organizations such as The American Liver Foundation, Carroll Center for the Blind, Courageous Sailing Center, Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital and Franciscan Hospital for Children, Urban College of Boston, Perkins School for the Blind, the Sports Museum, and Boy Scouts of America as an Eagle Scout. He is originally from Quincy, MA.
