Jack Olchin

Jack Olchin, 92, of Great Neck, a Liberal Party leader going back to when the party was a force in state politics, has died, according to Martin Hassner, the organization's executive director. Olchin was a state vice chairman of the Liberal Party for 15 years and its Nassau County chairman for twenty years. He was a Liberal Party member for 68 years and state and Nassau County Liberal Party chairman, who most recently helped lead Edward Mangano to Nassau County executive victory, died from cardiovascular complications. He was 92.
