Pete Filon

Filon currently serves as Minority Counsel on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce responsible for cable, telephone, Internet, and broadcasting issues. He has worked with Congressman John D. Dingell (D-MI), the Ranking Member of the Energy and Commerce Committee and the Dean of the House Democrats, since 1999, and with the Committee since 2003. Before working on the Hill, Filon worked as a policy analyst at Nortel Networks in Washington, DC. Filon holds a J.D. and a M.A. in Congressional Affairs from The Catholic University of America, and a bachelor's degree from The University of Dayton in Ohio.
