Daniel Joseph

Daniel Joseph has litigated a large number of cases, with particular emphasis on appellate and complex litigation, judicial review of federal agency action, energy and environmental cases, and congressional investigations. A 1963 graduate of Columbia University, Mr. Joseph received his LL.B. from Harvard Law School in 1966. He served as law clerk to the Honorable Irving L. Goldberg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. Mr. Joseph's service in the public sector also includes three years in the Appellate Section of the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Mr. Joseph is a member of the District of Columbia and New Jersey Bars. He is currently a member of the District of Columbia Bar's Legal Ethics Committee and its Special Committee on Multijurisdictional Practice. He is a former member of the Bar's Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee, having been a member of the committee since its inception in 1991, and having served as its chair from 1996 to 1999. He also previously served on the Bar's Special Committee on Multidisciplinary Practice.
