Dr. Herbert R. Brinberg has been an Adjunct Professor of Management at Baruch College since 1989. Before establishing Parnassus Associates, he was President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer U.S. Corporation, a subsidiary of Wolters Kluwer NV of the Netherlands. Parnassus Associates International was founded in 1989 by Herbert R. Brinberg, who is also president. His breadth of experience as both consultant to and CEO of several large US and multinational publishing and information firms provides him with the vision and skill to guide companies along the path to greater growth. In addition to his accomplishments in the professional world, Dr. Brinberg has earned wide recognition as a leader in the academy. He holds degrees from Cornell and Columbia, as well as a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University and an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Syracuse University. Currently Dr. Brinberg is an Adjunct Professor of Management at Baruch College of the City University of New York, and writes and lectures widely on business strategy, economic development and organizational structure and policy. Dr. Brinberg serves on the Boards of Directors of several multinational corporations, is a member of the University Council of Cornell University and is Chair of the Board of Visitors of the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University.
