Shahan is a co-founder of Panorama Capital and focuses primarily on technology investments. A longtime investor for over two decades, Shahan was a Partner with JPMorgan Partners, leading the firm’s venture investing efforts since 1998. He began his career at Chemical Venture Partners in 1990, the predecessor to JPMorgan Partners. Shahan was previously a member of the mergers and acquisitions group at both Bankers Trust, Inc. and Prudential-Bache Securities, Inc. (currently known as Prudential Equity Group, LLC). He was responsible for investments in, and/or on the board of directors of Aecom Technology, McAfee (Dr. Solomon's Anti Virus), Computacenter, Equant, Kinko's, ONI Systems, Petco, Seagate, Thermoscan, Yipes, Tidal Software, Squaretrade, Beyond the Rack and World Golf Tour. Shahan is a trustee of Pitzer College. Shahan holds a B.A. from Pitzer College and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
