Jessica Singleton is the Chief Digital Officer for the City of New York, where she works to support the city’s thriving tech ecosystem and ensure that the City government is at the fingertips of every New Yorker. Singleton has served the City as Digital Director since January 2014. Prior to her work at City Hall, Singleton served as the Digital Director on Bill de Blasio’s mayoral campaign. Previously, Singleton worked on the digital team for Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign, advocated for LGBT equality at the Human Rights Campaign, explored the intersection of technology and politics at the think tank NDN/NPI, and co-founded the Roosevelt Institute Campus Network. An East Tennessee native, Jessica is a graduate of Middlebury College. She lives in Brooklyn.
