Marilyn Sephocle

Ph.D., New York University With Dr. Carol Beane and Dr. Antonio Rodriguez (ret.), Dr. Marilyn Sephocle founded the Interpretation and Translation Unit which trains students in Simultaneous Interpretation in twelve languages. In addition to a Ph.D. in German from New York University, Dr. Sephocle obtained an MBA from Howard University and an MIPP (Master's in International Public Policy) from SAIS Johns Hopkins. Her publications focus on Afro-Gemans studies, Afro-European studies and on women in diplomacy. Dr. Sephocle is the organizer of the annual Women Ambassadors Conference.
