Mr. Siegel was the chief strategist of the Humphrey for President Campaign in 1972, the political director of the Democratic National Convention in 1976 and the Coordinator of the Draft Kennedy movement in 1980. He was an elected at-large member of the Democratic National Committee for more than 10 years and served on three separate Democratic commissions on the presidential nominating process. For 15 years, Mr. Siegel served on the Board of the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, chairing the Institute's party building and election monitoring in Asia. A prominent speechwriter, he has written for Presidents, Vice Presidents, Senators, Congressmen and Corporate Executives as well as notable international dignitaries. Mr. Siegel has also taught at Loyola University of Chicago, American University, and George Washington University, and currently lectures at Columbia University.
