From 1990 to April 2006, he served as a partner in the firm of Hunton & Williams LLP, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. From 1986 through 1990, Mr. Baliles served as the 65. Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Baliles serves on the boards of the Norfolk Southern Corporation and the Shenandoah Life Insurance Company, and has served on the boards of the Greater Richmond World Affairs Council, the Greater Richmond Transportation Advocacy Board, and the Richmond Symphony Council. Mr. Baliles is a member of the Compensation, Finance and Nominating, Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility Committees.
