Sara Van Geertruyden

Sara van Geertruyden has been named senior vice president of Thorn Run Partners. Since 2003, she worked at Patton Boggs, where she practiced in its public policy group covering regulatory and legislative issues related to health care, welfare and appropriations. Earlier, she worked for then-Sen. John Breaux (D-La.) as projects assistant handling appropriations and later as legislative assistant overseeing health and welfare issues before the Senate Finance Committee. The Louisiana native has a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and a law degree from Catholic University.
