Mr. Bane retired in March 2003 as Executive Vice President and President, global strategy and corporate development of Motorola, Inc., a position that he had held since May 2000. From March 1997 until May 2000, Mr. Bane served as Executive Vice President and President, Americas region of Motorola. From 1973 to August 1997, Mr. Bane held various senior management positions with Motorola. Mr. Bane served as a director of Nextel Communications, Inc. from July 1995 until its merger with Sprint Corporation in August 2005, and he has served as one of our directors since 2005.
