David Nanus

Mr. Nanus joined LS Power Equity Advisors in 2005 and has seventeen years of industry experience. Prior to LS Power, Mr. Nanus was a Vice President in Lazard Freres’ Power & Energy practice where he advised power and utility companies on M&A and restructuring transactions. Previously, Mr. Nanus was an Associate at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he was a member of both the Financial Sponsors and Global Energy practices. Mr. Nanus began his career with Arthur Andersen’s Transaction Advisory Services Group where he performed due diligence and provided accounting advice related to private equity transactions. Mr. Nanus received a B.S. in Applied Economics from Cornell University and an M.B.A. with honors from Columbia Business School and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Nanus serves on the Board of Trustees of the Bronx Success Academy 1 charter school and on the Undergraduate Advisory Council of Cornell University’s Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management.
