Michael’s Wall St. career started in 1984, as a scholarship night student at NYU’s business school, when he was only nineteen. He has been focused on making investors money in a wide variety of industries ranging from cutting edge medical technology companies to shipyards. He has a long record of corporate leadership, was probably the youngest independent director of a NYSE listed company in the history of the exchange, and has successfully served as a director or Chairman of multiple public and private enterprises in a variety of industries. Michael founded, with his brother Bob, Taglich Brothers in 1992 when he was 27 years old. Fairly uniquely for Wall St., Taglich Brothers has always had a “coinvestment” philosophy, where Taglich Brothers principal invested alongside their investors in each of their deals. Besides leading Taglich Brothers, Michael is currently the Chairman of Air Industries Inc, a NYSE listed, Long Island based Aerospace company (AIRI, NYSE MKT), Bioventrix Inc, a San Ramon CA based company with an innovative, European approved treatment for congestive heart failure, Mare Island Drydock Inc, a California based ship repair company, and serves as a director of Bridgeline Digital (BLIN Nasdaq), Caldera Pharma Inc. a pharmaceutical testing company, Autonet Mobile Inc., which connects cars to the internet, and Dilon Technologies, a Virginia based company with the best way to find breast cancer. Michael is happily married to his lovely wife Claudia, and a father of four girls, three at Saint Dominics in Oyster Bay and one at Our Lady of Mercy in Syosset. Mike is a Private Pilot and is active in supporting Catholic schools in the Diocese of Rockville Center.
