Christopher D'Amato, 36, is a Managing Director and Partner at Park Strategies, LLC. Located in New York City, with satellite offices and affiliates in Washington, DC, Albany, NY, and Uniondale, Long Island, Park Strategies is a business consulting firm that specializes in government affairs, strategic advisory services, and business development. Mr. D'Amato has worked for the firm since March of 2001, where he serves as the primary liaison between clients, potential corporate partners, and government entities on a daily basis. In addition, Mr. D'Amato coordinates the firm's state, federal, and local lobbying efforts and handles all legal matters on behalf of the firm. Mr. D'Amato is responsible for vetting all potential clients and negotiating the scope and terms of lobbying, consulting, and advisory engagements. Mr. D'Amato also serves as the chief compliance officer to Park Strategies. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. D'Amato served as a Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Northeast Regional Office in New York. At the SEC, Mr. D'Amato directed investigations into individuals and corporations accused of violating the state and federal securities laws and regulations. Prior to joining the SEC, Mr. D'Amato served for four years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division of the Manhattan District Attorney's Office in New York, where he was responsible for coordinating investigations into criminal activity and directing the prosecution and trial of criminal defendants. Mr. D'Amato has been a member the Board of Directors of the National Prostate Cancer Coalition since December of 2004, where he is involved in developing strategies to enhance governmental research funding for prostate cancer and disease awareness programs. Mr. D'Amato also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Primary Metals, Inc., a publicly traded Canadian mineral exploration company. Mr. D'Amato is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, and is a member of the New York State Bar, 2nd Department, and admitted to practice before the Federal District Court in the Southern District of New York. Mr. D'Amato earned his bachelors degree at Georgetown University and resides with his wife, Amy, and their three children in Forest Hills, New York.
