Kraig M. Siracuse, joined Park Strategies in January, 2005, and helped to establish Park Strategies Washington Group, LLC. Mr. Siracuse runs the Washington office of Park Strategies. Mr. Siracuse serves as the primary liaison between clients, potential corporate partners, and government entities on a daily basis. Mr. Siracuse coordinates the firm's federal lobbying efforts. From 1991 until 1998, Mr. Siracuse served as a Legislative Assistant, working for U.S. Senator Alfonse M. D'Amato and the Senate Banking Committee. During this time, Mr. Siracuse was responsible for the Senator's trade portfolio, appropriations issues, national security, foreign affairs, telecommunications, and commerce issues. Mr. Siracuse also worked with Senator D'Amato in drafting and passing landmark legislation in the field of breast cancer, on both the state and federal level. Mr. Siracuse specialized in coordinating successful legislative efforts with grassroots support, various coalitions in the community and the press. Most recently, Mr. Siracuse served as a Professional Staff Member on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Defense, a position he held from 1999 to 2005. Mr. Siracuse was responsible for Congressional oversight of the Department of Defense's annual budget, with a focus on Army and Air Force investment programs, and the Former Soviet Union Threat Reduction program. He was responsible for in excess of $40 billion in direct oversight of Department of Defense programs and represented the Chairman at various speaking engagements, including industry conferences and national security forums. Mr. Siracuse earned his bachelors degree at The George Washington University, and holds a master's degree from George Mason University. Mr. Siracuse is also a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and a graduate of the Naval War College. He resides in Alexandria, VA with his wife Cece and their two children, Nicholas and Thomas.
