Ann Costello is co-head of US Government Affairs for Goldman Sachs in Washington, D.C., where she oversees the firm's interactions and relationships with federal, state and local government officials. She joined Goldman Sachs in 1997 as a vice president and was named Managing Director in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Costello was a partner at the law firm of Williams & Jensen, PC, specializing in a financial services legislative practice. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Women’s Policy, Inc., the bipartisan caucus organization for women in the United States Senate and House. Ms. Costello earned a JD from The National Law Center, George Washington University, in1979 and a BA in French Literature from Duke University in 1972. She and her husband, John, have two children and live in Bethesda, Maryland.
