John S Stanton

John Stanton practices in the area of federal income taxation, with emphasis on legislative matters, regulatory issues, controversy proceedings, and representation of government pension plans and trade associations. He represents clients on a broad range of both domestic and foreign tax issues. Prior to his graduation from law school, John served as a professional staff member of the U.S. House Committee on Banking, Finance and Urban Affairs. John also has extensive experience in the tax treatment of research and development and is the co-author of a tax treatise on the subject.
