Eric Rosen

Eric Rosen is a Capitol Hill veteran with experience in the Senate, House, and Executive Branch. For over five years, he served as Judiciary Committee counsel to Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr. (D-DE). While on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Rosen participated in the drafting of the Patriot Act, Department of Justice Authorization Act, and Protect Act, among others. He helped develop a strategy and questions for two separate Supreme Court confirmation hearings, and he worked with Senators, witnesses, and staff to develop subcommittee hearings examining a variety of budgetary and homeland security-related issues. Rosen served as the Senator's principal advisor on homeland security, criminal justice, and intellectual property matters, and he was responsible for Senator Biden's homeland security and Department of Justice appropriations issues. In the U.S. House of Representatives, Rosen served as legislative director to Representative Anthony D. Weiner (D-NY), where he developed and managed the legislative agenda for a new congressman. Rosen also served as a legislative assistant to former Representative Chester G. Atkins (D-MA). He was Deputy Director of the Justice Department's Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, and served in the Treasury Department's Office of Tax Policy. Most recently, Rosen served as an Assistant United States Attorney in San Francisco.
