Jack Sawyer serves as President of the Southeast Region of Wilmington Trust's Wealth Management group, and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1989 Sawyer was a founding principal of The Arden Group, which was Atlanta's first private fiduciary firm and was acquired by Mellon in 2003. He has specialized in the administration of trusts, estates and private foundations throughout his career. Sawyer received his BA from the University of Georgia and his JD from Mercer University. He is also an avid patron, generous host and supporter of many local Atlanta charities. Most recently he served as co-chair of The Swan House Ball, A Meal to Remember benefitting Senior Citizen Services, the Nsoro Foundation's Starfish Ball, The National Black Arts Festival and was named honorary chair of the High Museum of Art's Driskell Prize Dinner. Sawyer is a member of The Advisory Circle for the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, the Advisory Board of the Alliance Theater, and the President's Council for the Atlanta History Center. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the following: the Anti-Defamantion League, the Atlanta Humane Society, Devyne Intervention Foundation, Georgia Museum of Art, the Georgia Music Festival, High Museum of Art, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes Spalding, Open Hand, Zoo Atlanta and the Auxillary Board of The Shepherd Center
