Brian Miller serves as Manager, Government Relations at Van Scoyoc Associates, Inc. (VSA), specializing in defense, foreign affairs, energy, telecommunications and health care issues. Prior to joining VSA, Miller was district director and senior policy advisor to former Congressman Jeb Bradley of New Hampshire. As the congressman's senior legislative assistant, Miller played a key role in eliminating provisions of federal telecommunications law that prevented New Hampshire residents from viewing the stateís only network affiliate station. He advised the congressman on foreign affairs and trade policy, health care, homeland security, military and veterans' affairs. In his role as chief policy advisor, Miller provided advice on matters of policy, legislation and strategic initiatives, including the successful effort to remove the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard from the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) list. Miller received his bachelor of arts degree in government and economics from Hamilton College, Clinton, N.Y., and is enrolled in the defense and strategic studies masters program at Missouri State University, Fairfax, VA.
