Ann Richardson Berkey

Berkey joined McKesson as director, Public Affairs in 1988. She is responsible for managing the company's public policy and government-relations activities at the federal, state and local level. She was recently elected to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Public Affairs Council in Washington, D.C., and is on the Board of Governors of the City Club of San Francisco. Prior to joining McKesson, she was president of Berkey Associates, Inc., a government relations consulting firm, for eight years. She has held public affairs positions with Shell Oil Company and worked in Washington for the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare and the Secretary of the Interior. Berkey has a B.A. degree from Mount Holyoke College. She lives with her husband and two children in Oakland, California.
