Gayle Benson

A devoted community member, Gayle Benson has demonstrated her commitment to the Greater New Orleans region in multiple ways. Whether serving on the Ochsner Health Foundation board or raising funds for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Gayle is a supporter of the Greater New Orleans Foundation. Married to Saints and Pelican owner Tom Benson, Gayle is a retired interior designer. She had been married twice before - her first husband was Nace Anthony which ended in divorce in 1972. Her second husband was Thomas Bird, also known as T-Bird. They got married on February 14, 1977, in Louisiana but they got a divorce ten years later. Bird was in the interior decorating business. So when Gayle was married the couple renovated about a hundred properties in New Orleans. Gayle Benson has no children from her three marriages.
