Patricia J Edington

A longtime resident of Washington, DC and Alexandria, VA passed away at home on Thursday, December 8, 2016. She was born Patricia Jo Marschner in Elmhurst, IL to Lois Ebeling and Gerard Marschner. She is survived by her husband, Will Edington; daughter, Jessie Edington; son, Payne Edington, sister, Sandra Lee Policare of Carbondale, CO, and brother, Jerry Marschner of Palm Harbor, FL. She was a wonderful aunt to nine nieces and nephews and a devoted godmother to four godchildren. PJ was also a loyal, dear friend to many who had the good fortune to have her in their lives. For the last 14 years, PJ worked for IBM in its public policy and government affairs department, working on issues mainly related to disability and workforce concerns. Before that she worked for the Center for Women Policy Studies advocating to promote women's human rights.
