Steven has thirteen years’ experience of accounting and auditing experience in public accounting with a specific focus on public companies in the energy sector. Steven has extensive experience in the upstream oil and gas accounting (both successful efforts and full cost) and SEC reporting. He has a thorough understanding of internal control over financial reporting and the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley. Steven has been an instructor at the Advanced International Program in Oil and Gas Financial Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. He co-authored and instructed PwC’s Petroleum Academy training course, which is a week program designed to educate PwC professionals on upstream oil and gas accounting and operational aspects of business. Steven is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
