Travis Richmond is a Government Affairs Associate with The Loeffler Group. Mr. Richmond focuses on policy and research analysis with the firm, and assists clients with advocacy before both the Bush Administration and the US Congress. Before joining The Loeffler Group, Mr. Richmond served as a staff member to Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), first as Speechwriter and then as Legislative Aide. In these positions, Mr. Richmond helped formulate and communicate policy on agriculture, commerce, defense, education, energy, health care, finance, foreign policy, immigration, telecommunications, transportation and veterans affairs issues. From 2004 to 2005, Mr. Richmond worked for the University of North Texas in the Division of University Relations, Communications and Marketing. Mr. Richmond was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Texas.
