Andrew L Spielman

Andy Spielman is a nationally recognized energy, environment and natural resources attorney with three decades of public and private sector policy and legal experience. Andy currently serves dual roles as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Core Mountain Enterprises. He is the founder and managing partner of Natural Resource Law, LLC. Andy served as Chair of Colorado’s Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. He also served for 11 years as Chair of the Regional Air Quality Council. Earlier in his career Andy served in policy positions at the White House and the US EPA and as US Senate staff. As an attorney in private practice, Andy served as the Global Co-Head of the Energy and Natural Resources group at the international law firm of Hogan Lovells. He then served as worldwide Chair of the Energy, Environmental and Natural Resources group at WilmerHale. Andy has received numerous professional awards from the National Journal, Chambers USA, Superlawyers, Law Week, and others, and has repeatedly been named Who’s Who in Energy by the Denver Business Journal. He is a frequent lecturer on energy law and policy and resource development on public lands. Andy and family reside in Denver, Colorado.
