Andrew Woods is of counsel in King & Spalding’s Government Advocacy and Public Policy Practice Group. Mr. Woods has a diverse legislative practice that includes advising clients on healthcare, business and appropriations issues. Mr. Woods has 20 years of experience in the development and implementation of health policy initiatives for a variety of healthcare organizations. His healthcare clients include the American College of Radiation Oncology, US Oncology, 21st Century Oncology, DaVita, Roche Diagnostics, the Detroit Medical Center, Sirtex Medical, Inc., the Florida Medical Association and the National Patient Advocate Foundation. He also represents other business, banking and non-profit organizations, including Google, Junior Achievement, Florida Power & Light and Chevy Chase Bank. graduate of North Carolina State University, Mr. Woods received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1988 and clerked for the Supreme Court of North Carolina from 1989 to 1990. He also was a 1984 Scholar of the College at Oxford University in Oxford, England.
