Anna Kate Reid Hipp

Served on the MBC Board of Trustees for more than 25 years, and in 1994, she was the first alumna to chair the board. Hipp is a longtime supporter of the college and her dedication inspires other alumnae/i. Aside from her commitment to Mary Baldwin College, Hipp is active in a number of organizations devoted to environmental preservation and community enhancement, and she serves on the Board of Trustees for the Southern Environmental Law Center, protecting the natural beauty of Virginia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. In 2009, she was honored with the YWCA of Greenville Women of Achievement Award.
