Jennifer Butler is a partner in the firm’s Health Care Group and brings more than a decade of experience in representing a variety of leading health care companies. Jennifer concentrates her practice on health care regulatory, legislative and transactional matters. Her practice includes serving as chief health care counsel to Senator Robert J. Dole. Ms. Butler represents clients on the full spectrum of health care issues including Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement, drug pricing, the Anti-Kickback and Stark statutes and the HIPAA privacy and security laws. Her clients include pharmaceutical companies, health plans, health care providers and health care associations. Ms. Butler’s clients benefit from her unique ability to combine substantive expertise on issues with a comprehensive understanding of the legislative process. She received her J.D. in 1998 from Washington & Lee University where she served as co-chairperson of the Moot Court Board and was awarded first place in the John W. Davis Moot Court Competition. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in 1995 from Florida State University where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
