As Controller for The Habitat Company, Cindy Dietz oversees the accounting, financial management and treasury functions for all existing properties. With over 20 years of real estate accounting experience, including over 9 years with The Habitat Company, Ms. Dietz manages the accounting team that provides accounting and financial reporting support to the owners for the existing management portfolio consisting of residential units, including condominium, public, affordable and market rate housing. Ms. Dietz also has involvement in budgeting, annual financial statement audits and tax returns, and support to the operations of the company. Previously, she held positions as Controller for Related Midwest responsible for financial reporting for multiple luxury condominium, and affordable housing developments; and as Manager for Altschuler, Melvoin and Glassner, a public accounting firm. Ms. Dietz is a registered Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelors of Science degree from DePaul University.
