Jim is the Managing Partner of Seiler LLP, a leading accounting firm serving affluent families and individuals, closely held businesses and non-profit organizations throughout California and the United States. In his role as a trusted advisor, Jim provides professional counsel and sophisticated solutions in the areas of income, estate and gift tax planning, wealth management, all facets of real estate and charitable gift planning. Jim is a member of the board of directors of the Skoll Foundation. He was the founder and board member of Sports Association for Youth, a non-competitive baseball league that benefits more than 1,000 Bay Area youths annually. Past board and community activities also include Board Member, Mid-Peninsula Bank; Trustee, Executive Committee Member and Audit Committee Chairman, Notre Dame de Namur University; Advisory Board Member, Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur of California; Board Member, Santa Clara University English Advisory Committee; Capital Campaign Committee Member, Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital; Friends of Orthopedics, Stanford University Medical Center; and Chair, Santa Clara University Men’s Golf Committee. Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants and is an internationally recognized speaker on issues of tax, estate and wealth planning and philanthropic giving. Jim attended the University of California at Los Angeles and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Golden Gate University.
