Mr. LeCour joined Compass Advisers’ New York office as a Managing Director in December 2011. Mr. LeCour has over 25 years of experience advising media and consumer product companies on over $160 billion of transactions. His experience covers a broad range of strategic advisory, sell-side and buy-side assignments, leveraged buyouts, special committee advisory assignments, fairness opinions, and capital market transactions. Before joining Compass, Mr. LeCour was Managing Director and Head of M&A group at Cantor Fitzgerald. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Bank Street Group where he built the consumer product group. Prior to being at Bank Street Group, Mr. LeCour spent 6 years as a Managing Director in M&A group at Merrill Lynch affiliate Utendahl Capital. Mr. LeCour was also Director at GiroCredit Merchant Bank AG, where he led the bank’s London/European leverage finance team, and prior to that he was a Vice President at Citicorp Mezzanine Capital. Mr. LeCour has led the origination and execution on a number of noteworthy strategic advisory assignments for clients, including Bright Foods (China), Irogvel (Brazil), General Mills, Revlon Consumer Products, PepsiCo, Danisco A/G (Denmark), Corn Products International, Saroni Sugar and Rice, Monsanto, and the Hungarian Finance Ministry on the disposition of state-owned Telecom, Cosmetics, and Food businesses. Mr. LeCour is an advisory board member of Stat Health Services, and Leake and Watts Child Welfare Agency of New York. Mr. LeCour holds a BS (Mathematical Sciences) from University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
