Joe Ross

Joe Edelheit Ross is President and Chief Operating Officer at Schoold. Prior, he was Chief Strategy Officer at HotChalk, with responsibility for higher education sales and business development, legal, compliance and regulatory matters. Since 2012 he has also served in California as an elected trustee of the San Mateo County Board of Education. Previously, he was Vice President and Executive Director at Citizen Schools, an education nonprofit operating in seven states. Joe also managed international expansion for consumer products at Cisco Systems, and served as Director, Office of the CEO, at Pure Digital Technologies, the start-up that created Flip Video. During his eight-year military career, Joe served as Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for the fleet component of the U.S. Southern Command, and managed security cooperation programs in Latin America and Asia. A member of the California Bar, Joe holds a B.A. in political science from Yale University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he was president of the Stanford Law Review.
