Monika Mantilla is the President and CEO of Altura Capital Group and a Partner with Small Business Community Capital (SBCC). Ms. Mantilla has over 21 years of domestic and international management and investment management experience. Altura Capital is an innovative investment boutique that specializes in emerging managers and the quickly expanding emerging domestic market. The clients of Altura include some of the largest institutional investors in the country and in the world. Altura provides Emerging Manager research, analytics, portfolio construction, monitoring, and management of manager services to institutional investors in U.S. and across the globe. Altura is the creator of the Altura Emerging Manager Information Platform, a platform through which institutional investors can access analytics, statistical, and qualitative data of more than 2,000 emerging managers across all asset classes. To seize the opportunities in the growing emerging domestic markets, in partnership with the principals of Savile Opportunity Fund LP, Altura launched a $120 million small-business community capital debt fund (SBCC). Ms. Mantilla holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and a J.D. from the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia.
