Mr. Jorgensen has 25 years of leadership experience in rapid growth, technology enabled health services and a proven track record in fundraising, execution and value creation. Mr. Jorgensen is currently the Chairman & CEO of MDVIP, the nations largest network of consumer-focused and funded personalized primary care physicians. He returned to lead MDVIP in June 2014 after the repurchase of the company by Summit Partners from Procter & Gamble. He was previously CEO of MDVIP until early 2010, when he led the successful sale of the company to P&G. He remained a board member until June 2013. Prior to MDVIP, he was CEO of InSight Health, a $300 million diagnostic imaging business with 2,400 employees. After completing a financial restructuring late 2007, he left to pursue other interests. Prior to that he spent four years as the CEO of Directfit, an IT services company that he sold to TEKsystems. Prior to Directfit, Mr. Jorgensen Co-Founded TheraTx a successful, publicly traded diversified healthcare services organization, in 1989. He was a Director and as President of TheraTx Health Services was responsible for five operating divisions with 5,000 employees. Mr. Jorgensen left in 1997, shortly after TheraTx was sold to Vencor for $550 million. TheraTx was recognized as the 2nd fastest growing public company in America by Inc. magazine in 1995. In 1995 Mr. Jorgensen received the “Entrepreneur of the Year” Award. He received his Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude in Economics from Claremont McKenna College in 1981. Mr. Jorgensen is currently Chairman of Crossover Health, which provides technology enabled health services to large self-insured employers. He is also a Director of the Kravis Leadership Institute. He has recently served as a strategic advisor to several companies, including Qualcomm Life (mHealth), Advanced ICU Care (tele-ICU) and Hello Health (EHR). He has served as a Board Director of numerous public and private companies, primarily in the healthcare field. Mr. Jorgensen served as a member of Scripps Institution of Oceanography Director’s Cabinet and Big Brothers of San Diego Board and Presidents’ Council (he was former “Big” for 10 years). He is Chairman Emeritus of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) of San Diego and an active member of YPO/WPO and has served in numerous YPO Regional and International roles.
