Marc is currently vice president at Hamilton Miller, a broker-dealer firm that specializes in raising money for hedge funds and other asset managers from pensions, endowments, family offices, and other institutional investors that outsource all or part of their investment management. His expertise is in sourcing, analysis, and due diligence of investment strategies, as well as marketing selected funds. Marc joined Hamilton Miller in January 2008. He served as Chief Financial Officer from October 2008 to May 2009. Prior to Hamilton Miller, Marc was an analyst and vice president for GVC Capital Partners where he focused on raising money for micro cap public companies (<$100MM market capitalization) with an emphasis on natural resource and technology companies. Both positions demand keen analysis of decision-makers in organizations. Marc graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a BA in History. At CMC he was consecutively CFO, Vice President, and President of ASCMC and held editor positions with multiple student publications. His wife Katherine is also a CMC alum. Outside of his professional career, Marc recently finished a four year term as Alumni Board President and trustee for Kent Denver School, a premier independent school in Englewood, Colorado. He was also a founding officer of the Gordian Fund, an organization established to promote philanthropy among young professionals. In his spare time he enjoys reading, photography, writing, and time in the mountains. Marc lives in Denver, Colorado but spends a significant amount of his time in Arlington, Virginia.
