Cam McKinney joined William Blair & Company in 2010 as a Portfolio Manager serving both institutional and high-net worth clients. Prior to joining the firm, he spent 12 years at Northern Trust advising institutions, senior executives, business owners, and high-net-worth families on their overall investment strategy and asset management. As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Cam manages over $1.2 billion in client assets. He is a former co-chair and voting member of Northern Trust’s Guardian and Estates Investment Committee, and currently serves on the finance/investment committee for The Illinois Saint Andrew Society. Cam has served on the Latin School of Chicago Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2007, and has chaired the Alumni Annual Fund Committee since 2009. He is also involved with Metro Squash, an urban squash and education program. Cam is a member of the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago and Association for Investment Management and Research (CFA Society). He has been awarded the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) designation and is a graduate of the National Trust School through Northwestern University. Cam earned a B.A. at Denison University, and graduated from Latin in 1993. He and his wife Jen have three children.
