Bill Conway, a 13-year Latin veteran, started his leadership in student government where he served as both senior and junior prefect and has served for the past four years as an Alumni Board Association member. Last year, Bill and his family created the Conway Family Scholarship at Latin. Bill currently works at JP Morgan in investment banking specializing in diversified industries. While completing his M.B.A, he managed an investment fund and maintained his own legal practice. Prior to that, Bill prosecuted financial crimes and public corruption cases for the Cook County State’s Attorney. Bill earned his B.S. in accounting from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania; his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center; and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. He also serves as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Naval Reserves. Bill, at the University of Chicago, is an active supporter and advisory board member of the school’s Urban Education Institute as well as an investor and screening committee member of Hyde Park Angels, an entrepreneurial investment group. He also serves on the board of A Better Chicago, a philanthropy group that supports non-profit education.
